Working draft. This is not legal advice. Have a licensed Florida lawyer review this before taking payment.

Stay on Track™ (also written Stay On Track) is a simple cash-flow look-ahead planner. You type your numbers. The app shows a weekly grid, paydays, bills, one goal, and a future "promise" if you stay on track.

We are not a bank. We are not an advisor. We are not tax software. We do not log into your bank.

This policy explains what information is involved when you use the app at https://stayontrack.io.

Who offers this app

The app is offered by Nathan Smith, doing business as Stay on Track™ (the "operator," "we," or "us"). The operator is in Florida. No limited liability company has been formed yet.

Questions: hello@stayontrack.io.

The short version

- No accounts. No operator database of your weeks, bills, or goal.

- If you type data into the app, it stays on your device in the browser.

- We do not sell personal information.

- We do not run analytics today.

- You must be 18 or older.

What lives on your device

Stay on Track™ is a static web app (Vite + React + TypeScript, installed as a PWA if you choose). There is no login and no backend of ours that stores your planner.

When you finish setup, the app saves a JSON copy of your calendar in this browser's localStorage under the key stay-on-track-v1. That can include:

- starting checking balance

- paycheck amount and which weeks are paydays

- weekly grocery / eating-out placeholder and optional budget hint

- recurring bills you add

- one goal (name, kind, remaining amount, typical payment, checking cushion)

- the weeks the app generates (from now through about the next 18 months)

- items you add or edit, including planned expenses

We cannot see that data. It never comes to us unless you send it (for example by emailing an export). Clearing site data, using another device, or opening a private window looks like a first visit.

You can Export JSON and Import JSON as a local file. That file lives wherever you save it. Treat it like any other personal document. Start over in Settings erases the browser save and returns you to setup.

What we might receive even without an account

Ordinary website plumbing still happens.

Hosting. The public site is https://stayontrack.io. The domain is registered through Wix. If we publish the app on Wix, Wix is the host and Wix's privacy terms apply to that hosting (including ordinary request logs and any technical cookies Wix sets). If we later serve the app from a static host such as Cloudflare Pages or Netlify, that host's terms apply instead. The host may keep typical request logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested, and similar technical data. We do not use those logs to identify you, and we do not combine them with your planner. This draft does not claim the site is live yet.

Fonts. The app self-hosts the DM Sans typeface. Loading the app does not request fonts from Google or another font CDN.

Payments. There is no in-app bank login, no Plaid, and no Stripe checkout today. Paid access is planned as a 14-day trial, then $4.99 per month or $39 per year, billed by Paddle as merchant of record when checkout exists. Paddle — not us — collects payment details, bills you the fee shown at checkout, handles tax, and processes refunds under its buyer terms. It may share ordinary seller reports with us (for example, that a purchase completed, an email, a receipt id). We still will not have an account database of your planner. This draft does not claim Paddle checkout is live yet.

Email. If you write to hello@stayontrack.io, we will see whatever you send.

We do not use advertising pixels. We do not run Google Ads. We do not run analytics scripts today.

Cookies and similar storage

We do not set advertising cookies. The planner uses localStorage as described above. The host may set its own technical cookies. If we add analytics or accounts later, we will update this policy before that happens.

We do not sell personal information

We do not sell personal information. We do not share your planner with anyone, because we do not have it on our servers. We do not use your information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

California and similar US state privacy laws

Plain facts, not a fake compliance program:

- We do not sell or "share" personal information as those laws use those words.

- We do not have an account database.

- Planner data you type stays on your device.

- To ask a question, or to ask us to delete something we actually hold (an email you sent, or purchase notes the merchant of record shares with us), write to hello@stayontrack.io. We will need enough detail to find the message or receipt.

- We cannot reach into your phone or computer to delete localStorage. You can clear site data in the browser, or use Start over in Settings.

We are a small operator. We may not meet the size or revenue tests that trigger the full California notice-at-collection rules. We are stating how the app actually works anyway.

If you visit from outside the United States

The operator is in Florida, United States. The app is built for US consumers. A visit from elsewhere still talks to US hosting.

We do not keep an account profile about you. The little we might handle (a purchase record, an email, hosting logs) is for running the site, completing a checkout through the merchant of record, or answering you.

You can ask for access, correction, or deletion of information we actually hold by writing to hello@stayontrack.io. Hosting logs and merchant-of-record records are also controlled by those companies.

This is not an EU or UK representative notice. We do not claim we are established there.

Children

Stay on Track™ is for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a minor used the app, contact hello@stayontrack.io.

How long things last

- Planner data: until you clear it, start over, or the browser drops localStorage.

- Emails you send us: as long as we need them to answer you and keep ordinary records.

- Purchase records: as long as the merchant of record keeps them and as long as tax or bookkeeping requires.

Security

We take ordinary care with email and with the static files we publish. Because your planner lives on your device, you are in the best position to protect it: lock the device, be careful with exported JSON files, and skip a shared browser if you do not want someone else to see your numbers.

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Changes

We can update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top will change. For a material change we will post a notice on the site. Using the app after a posted change means you accept the new policy, to the extent the law allows.
